BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) is expanding its commitment to sports through its latest partnership with the SP PNG Hunters Rugby Football League Team by becoming a new sponsor for 2022 season in the Queensland Cup.

In announcing this partnership, BSP Group CEO Robin Fleming said, “we are delighted to be expanding our relationship in the rugby league fraternity through the PNG Hunters, an International Rugby League Club that shares the same values and understands the importance of putting communities and people especially fans and supporters at the forefront of their decisions. We see this as both a national and international opportunity to increase our national brand awareness as well as supporting local talent.”

“As a sponsor and a bank which operates in the same areas and communities as the team’s fans, we understand the passion people have for the sport and team, and the positive role that the team can play in the community, and so we are investing not only for brand recognition but developing standards in the country,” said Fleming.

Fleming added that, “as a major employer with a large customer base, BSP upholds an inclusive environment that does not discriminate on the basis of gender, ethnicity or sexuality. These values align with the PNG hunters own commitment to respecting and celebrating diversity.”

“We hope our support of K150,000 will help the team continue their hunt for the top spots and make PNG proud,” said Fleming.
