BSP inspiring inclusion in the workplace
BSP Financial Group Ltd, joins the celebration of the 2024 International Women’s Day (IWD) to #INSPIREINCLUSION across its workforce in PNG and the Pacific market in which it operates.
BSP Financial Group Ltd CEO Mark Robinson, acknowledged the progress BSP has made to create inclusivity and diversity in the workplace – stating “At BSP 40% of senior leadership roles are represented by women and overall, 51% of the BSP team are women.”
Mr. Robinson paid tribute to the females across the organisation, thanking them for their inspiration, and invaluable contributions to shape the organisation into a dynamic and inclusive environment.
He also acknowledged the men who continue to empower and support women both at home and in the workforce.
Inspiring Inclusion at BSP also extends to its Staff Wellness Programs, encouraging staff to be active, balancing work and life outside BSP. Pictured is BSP Teams 1 and 2 Premier division grand finalists in the Private Companies Netball Competition, striking the IWD pose ahead of the grand final this weekend.
The Group CEO encouraged all BSP Staff to take a moment and acknowledge a female colleague in the workplace or community that has made a difference.
He added “Small actions such as this, collectively support and forge a more inclusive world for women in our workplace, community, and beyond.”
To support the 2024 event, the Bank has invited staff to wear something purple, the themed colour of International Women’s Day. Additionally, BSP maintains its Gold sponsorship of the IWD Breakfast in Port Moresby, at the Stanley Hotel this Friday 8th March, 2024.
