Customer Notice | Unclaimed Monies

BSP Financial Group Ltd would like to remind the general public that under Section 6(3) & Section 7 (1) (a)(b)(i) of the Unclaimed Monies Act 1963 (Act), customers’ funds that remained un-used for more than seven (7) years, will be paid as unclaimed monies to the State’s Department of Finance.
As at January, 2022, the following customers were identified to have accounts that had not been transacted on for the past 6 years (dormant) or more than 7 years (unclaimed).
These customer accounts are identified to be closed by 31st December, 2022, and the balance transferred to the State by March, 2023.
The bank has a total of 8,034 customers whose accounts balances are equal to or greater than K10. If your name is on this list, please visit your nearest branch and reactivate your account or alternatively choose from a suite of products that meet your current banking needs.
