About the Role
The position is based in Port Moresby and reports to the Senior Vendor Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the effective management of all IT vendor contracts/agreements, and implementation of support service performance metrics to ensure vendors deliver optimal support efforts for service availability/uptime.
Key Deliverables
- Facilitate new Vendor Contracts/Service support agreements for approvals and onboarding, and ensure all agreements due for renewal are advised to stakeholders 3 months from expiry date.
- Ensure all new & renewed vendor contracts / agreements are fully executed, uploaded into SharePoint, approved by Head of Technology Reporting and Governance, and uploaded into TechOne.
- Ensure IT & Business SLAs are synchronised with the Suppliers’ Service Level Agreements stated within the vendors’ underpinning contracts (UC).
- Establish Vendor Performance Metrics and ensure that vendors & contracts are optimized, and enforce service optimization efforts.
- Manage service delivery expectations of Technology Heads & Senior management by scheduling regular meetings with key/critical vendors through the Technical teams, to address any Service Delivery performance issues and any other outstanding issues.
- Provide management updates and reports on vendor performance, contract renewal status, spend analysis and minutes of any meetings held with vendors. Updates also include the monthly ITSC report slide and the MIS report slides.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology or Business or equivalent.
- Foundation ITIL certificate.
- At least 3 years of experience in a range of business and technical teams, within a large and dispersed IT organization.
- Experience and/or exposure in managing IT Service Level Agreements in line with Supplier Relationship Management.
- At least 3 years’ experience working in IT administration with exposure to supplier and contract administration and IT service management practices.
- Good working knowledge on Service Level Management and Supplier Relationship dynamics.
- Good working knowledge of Contract and Agreement Management and Execution.
- Working knowledge of IT industry practices and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
