About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Team Leader – Technical Services to lead and empower a team of technical professionals in delivering proactive, high-quality maintenance and support services across our building infrastructure portfolio. Your mission is to ensure that all BSP buildings are safe, operational, and provide a comfortable working environment that aligns with tenant and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the implementation of preventive maintenance plans for fixed assets (UPS, generators, aircon, lighting, fire systems).
- Ensure timely reporting and tracking of quarterly maintenance updates and monthly checklist reports.
- Oversee building inspections and maintenance work requests, allocating tasks based on team expertise.
- Support SLAs with internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with service standards.
- Champion energy-efficient improvements to reduce operating costs.
- Maintain and monitor risk, incident, and issue registers for all building-related assets.
- Manage and resolve emergency breakdowns swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Provide technical insights for new branch fit-outs and refurbishments.
- Verify technical service claims and assist with budget planning and adherence.
- Drive compliance with all internal policies, industry codes, and safety regulations.
- Develop team KPIs, training schedules, and staff coaching programs.
- Foster a high-performance culture through continuous mentorship and team development.
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5–7 years’ experience in technical/facilities management, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficient technical knowledge across asset management, contract management, and project execution.
- Advanced computing and reporting abilities.
- A hands-on, people-first approach to operational excellence.
