About the Role
The role is based in Port Moresby and reports to the Head of Delivery. The successful incumbent will plan, manage and deliver moderate to high complexity business and technology projects.
Key Deliverables
- Delivery of assigned projects within agreed on-time, on-budget and on-benefit tolerances;
- Ongoing and proactive Internal and External Stakeholder Identification and Engagement through communications and governance forums;
- Development and maintenance of a level of Project Related Knowledge (in-scope processes, systems, products and customers) sufficient to enable effective Project Management;
- Identification, analysis of and ongoing adherence to agreed Project Scope;
- Identification, analysis of and ongoing management of Project Deliverables;
- Development, analysis, ongoing management and adherence to agreed Project Schedules;
- Scheduling and management of Internal and External Resources in line with agreed Project Schedules;
- Identification, analysis, ongoing management and resolution of Delivery Risks;
- Identification, analysis, ongoing management and resolution (incl. Escalation) of Delivery Issues;
- Development, analysis and ongoing management of Quality Assurance Plans;
- Development, analysis and ongoing management of Project Budgets and Forecasts;
- Management of changes to scope, deliverables, costs and benefits (Change Control);
- Fortnightly and monthly reporting of Project Delivery Performance (schedule, costs, risks, issues, etc.) to Project Executives, Project Boards and the Project Review Board;
- Performance Management of Project Managers and Business Analysts;
- Development of Project Managers and Business Analysts through formal development plans, coaching and/or mentoring.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Commerce or Information Technology.
- 4 years of Project Management experience.
- Banking/Financial Services experience.
- Technology projects experience.
- Demonstrated successful project delivery.
- Advanced level knowledge of formal Project Management principles.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.
- Advanced level knowledge of Project Management Tools.
