Senior Analyst

Position Details

About the Role:

We are seeking two Senior Analysts to join the Finance Data & Systems (FD&S) Team. These roles provide bank-wide technical finance systems and data expertise across all BSP divisions, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of system-driven accounting outcomes and finance data used for regulatory, statutory, and management reporting.

Operating as the Bank’s technical finance specialists, reporting to the Group Head of Finance Data & Systems, the Senior Analysts work in equal partnership with Finance Business Partners to support General Managers and Heads of Departments. While Finance Business Partners focus on functional insight and stakeholder engagement, these roles own the technical correctness of financial data, systems logic, reconciliations, and reporting outputs across the Bank.

Key Deliverables:

  • Provide enterprise-wide technical finance systems and data support across all BSP Strategic Business Units.
  • Monitor and maintain finance system interfaces between core banking, ERP, payroll, and ancillary platforms.
  • Maintain finance configurations and dimensions across systems, including chart of accounts, entities, cost centres, segments, channels, and intercompany structures.
  • Perform and oversee reconciliations between sub-ledgers and the general ledger, investigating and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Act as the technical finance representative in SBU finance meetings, supporting bank-wide reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Work in equal partnership with Finance Business Partners to support GM and HoD decision-making with accurate and reliable financial information.
  • Support system implementations, enhancements, and stabilisation activities, including requirements definition, UAT execution, and controlled release sign-off.
  • Identify root causes of finance data and system issues and coordinate remediation with IT and vendors.
  • Support audit and compliance activities through preparation of system documentation, data extracts, and evidence.
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.

What You Bring:

Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance systems, accounting, or data roles within banking or regulated financial services.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes, reconciliations, and system-driven financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and core banking platforms.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise-wide reporting across multiple business units.
  • Ability to operate as a technical authority and engage directly with General Managers and Heads of Department.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in equal partnership with Finance Business Partners.
