About the Role
The role is based in Port Moresby and reports to the Banking CIO. The successful incumbent will be the primary interface with Business stakeholders, documenting the business requirements and work with Technology to propose suitable solutions.
Key Deliverables
Analyse Business Requirements
- Analyse the organization’s business objectives and identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth;
- Responsible for documenting business challenges and needs and identify solutions and improvements that satisfies business needs
Business Capability Design and Conceptual Solution Architecture
- In conjunction with Business ensure that business processes, capabilities, and technologies are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives;
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that their business objectives are met and that the proposed solutions meet the organization’s goals and objectives
Resource and Performance Management
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business architecture initiatives;
- Monitor and report on the performance of business processes and capabilities
Demand, Change and Prioritisation Funnel Management
- Co-facilitate with Strategic Enterprise Office (SEO) and Technology Governance PMO and host periodic demand management sessions;
- Evaluate the Business landscape, capabilities, processes and systems and together with Technology and Business Stakeholders propose relevant fit for purpose solutions to enhance competitiveness of BSP
Organisational Change Management
- Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth implementation of new business processes and technologies;
- Support organizational change initiatives by providing insights into the impact of changes on business processes and capabilities;
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Business Administration
- Expert knowledge of Banking/Financial Industry Products, Payments, Channel and Enabling Capabilities
- 10 years of experience in business analysis, product management lifecycle, business architecture, or process architecture
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
- Experience in process improvement and knowledge of organisational change management methods
