About the Role
The Head of Retail Transformation is responsible for leading and executing strategic transformation initiatives within the Retail Banking SBU. This role ensures the Retail Bank evolves to meet changing customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics. The position champions innovation, operational efficiency, and digital adoption to deliver sustainable growth and an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Retail Transformation roadmap aligned with the organization’s overall strategy.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, digital enablement, and customer- centric improvements.
- Lead cross-functional transformation programs, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Establish governance frameworks for transformation initiatives, including KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to ensure alignment and minimize disruption to BAU activities.
- Act as the primary liaison between Retail Banking and Technology, Operations, and other support areas of the Bank.
- Drive adoption of digital solutions, automation, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Monitor emerging trends and technologies to keep Retail Banking competitive and future-ready.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth implementation and employee buy-in.
- Provide training and communication plans to support transformation initiatives.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years in Retail Banking, with at least 5 years in transformation or strategic change leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs successfully.
- Strong understanding of Retail Banking products, processes, and regulatory environment.
- Expertise in digital banking trends, technologies, and innovation strategies.
- Ability to design and implement transformation roadmaps using recognized frameworks.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and PMP methodologies for managing complex programs.
