About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager P&C Operations, the successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate disbursement staff benefits in line with BSP policy, employee eligibility and PNG regulatory requirements.
Key Deliverables
- Processing of benefit & remuneration disbursement accurately ensuring all are within Bank Employment terms/conditions as per HR Policy.
- Maintain general ledger expenditure on department GL accounts are accurate and no double payments are processed accordingly.
- Liaise with outside sources, such as insurance companies, to ensure that all benefits and remunerations for eligible staff are processed accordingly and kept up-to-date.
- Liaise with payroll to confirm disbursement of benefits and remunerations for reconciliation of accounts purposes.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports in consultation with Manager Benefits Administration to management so that they are kept up-to-date.
- Maintain benefits and remuneration disbursements are in accordance with employment terms/conditions and are compliant with banks policies and industrial regulations.
- Coordinate logistics of internally transferred and exit employees in accordance to employment terms/conditions as per policy.
- Staff Liaison Officer for staff in transit.
- Assist with general office administration as directed by management.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary requirements in Human Resource Management and/or any related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel).
- Proficient in oral and written English.
- Intermediate technical skills in Filing/Record Management.
- Intermediate technical skills in People Management Processes.
- Basic technical skills in Policies & Procedures.
- Basic technical skills in Compliance/Legislation.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
