About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Air Conditioning Officer to manage the full lifecycle of BSP’s HVAC systems—from installation and preventative maintenance to repairs and upgrades. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping our workspaces climate-controlled, energy-efficient, and up to BSP and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and manage work requests for air conditioning-related issues.
- Ensure all work orders are completed efficiently and reported to the Team Leader.
- Conduct timely incident reporting and documentation.
- Tag and document new AC units upon installation.
- Liaise with contractors for technical specs, asset documentation, and equipment verification.
- Provide accurate readings and interpretation of HVAC plans and schematics.
- Oversee compliance of all HVAC work with industry and BSP safety standards.
- Support the drafting of detailed blueprints for AC system layouts across all BSP premises.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader – Power/Electrical to maintain full compliance across all climate control assets.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and technical tasks as required by management.
What you’ll bring:
- Certificate in Mechanical (Heating, Cooling & Refrigeration) or PETT, with apprenticeship experience highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualification is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical compliance standards and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Clear communicator with a can-do attitude and attention to detail.
