BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) has been recognised for its significant contribution to enhancing financial inclusion and empowering rural communities and women in Papua New Guinea (PNG) through its Agency Banking network.
BSP was awarded the prestigious "Financial Inclusion and Deepening Award" at the Financial Inclusion Policy Forum and Excellence Awards Night, held on Friday, 22nd November 2024, by the Bank of Papua New Guinea (BPNG) and the Centre for Excellence in Financial Inclusion (CEFI).

It is your hard work, passion, and commitment that drive our success in financial inclusion. Together, we are making a difference, and this award is a testament to our collective efforts,” Ms Rabura said.
This recognition reaffirms BSP’s unwavering dedication to bridging the financial gap for underserved communities and advancing financial inclusion throughout PNG and the Pacific Islands.
Bank of PNG Governor Elizabeth Genia, commended CEFI and all award winners, highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving financial inclusion.
“Tonight we celebrate not just the achievement of accessing financial services, but the creation of a culture of financial inclusion that empowers our people,” Governor Genia said.
