BSP First staff installed 1x water tank with the assistance of the contractor and presented a Sports Pack and First Aid kit to Tokarara Community School.
The staff volunteered during the weekends to help deliver the project within a 3 week period. Project activities carried out by the staff included digging of holes for the tank stand and also constructing a shelter for the tank. They finished of the project with making a stone bed, painting and cleaning around the project site.
This Community Project initiative will go a long way for the students, staff and the community. There hasn't been any kind of project or donation done to the school in a long while, as per the principles advice. Also given the current water rationing situation, this project will greatly help not only the school but also the Community.
School Head Mistress Tokarara Primary School, Mrs Josephine Baupua expressed her gratitude and is honoured that BSP chose her school for the Community Project. Now the children will not have to be sent home for lack of water because of the new tank installed.
