Who is BSP Rural?
BSP Rural is a wholly owned subsidiary of BSP and was established to provide simple banking services to rural Papua New Guineans. BSP Rural operates as an agent of BSP meaning that the deposits accepted by BSP Rural are the deposits of BSP.
What product is available from BSP Rural?
The primary product available through BSP Rural is the Kundu Standard Account. This is a transaction account which is accessed by a Kundu Card or via SMS banking. The Kundu Cards can be used “across-the-counter” at BSP Rural branches or in any of BSP’s ATM’s of EFTPoS terminals across Papua New Guinea.
