The successful applicant will be responsible for the regular onsite inspections on credit risk compliance and portfolio quality assurance throughout the BSP Group. Primary objective is the detection of any material shortcomings in the assessment, approval, management, control and/or reporting of credit risk/counterparty risk.
. Create and update solutions related to credit risk inspections.
. Create, propose and, following approval of the Management/Board, ensure the implementation and
updating of the medium term plan (MTP) in terms of cost budgets, within the strategy of the Bank, to
manage the Business Unit activities.
. Timely completion and sign off on the final credit inspection reports with findings and recommendations
in order to ensure consistency, quality and relevance of recommendations.
. Validate regularly the risk rating, scoring and other risk models, including economic capital and RAROC
methodology used in the Bank.
. Maintain ongoing internal communication of findings with senior management to provide optimal and
timely insight in the functioning of the credit risk within the organisation.
Essential Qualifications, Professional / Technical Skills & Experiences:
. University Degree or other tertiary institution, preferably Accounting, Economics, Legal or Finance.
. Minimum 12 years of professional banking experienced of which minimum 7 years in (Senior) Risk
. Experience in managing Credit Risk.
. Advanced level of written and oral English skills.
. People Management Skills.
. Analytical skills & Commercial Awareness.
