On making the presentation to the Motu Koita Assembly, BSP Corporate Sponsorships Manager Amelia Minnopu reaffirmed the bank's commitment to the preservation and development of the values and cultural heritage in communities the bank operates in.
"We are happy to support this event as culture and traditions are a big part of the community in PNG and the Pacific; that unifies our brand with the people we deal with," Ms Minnopu said.
Chairman of Motu Koita assembly Dadi Toka Jnr thanked BSP for the support saying the event was also about empowering women.
"Providing a platform for young women to build their confidence, extend their network and be cultural ambassadors for their people," Dadi Toka said.

With the event set for September, the festival this year will see sequence of events set in the lead up to the main event.
This year's festival will have three main parts leading up the highlight event for the year. The Vanagi Race Season kicking off the sequence starting 6th July to the 21st September, then the Motu Koita Music Festival on 20th of July 2019 and the main event- The Hiri Moale Festival from the 21st and 22nd September 2019.
