BSP gears up for Innovation PNG 2019 Conference

Bank South Pacific (BSP) announced sponsorship of K30,000 in support of PNG's first Innovation PNG 2019 Conference to be held in Port Moresby on Friday 8 November 2019 at the Stanley Hotel in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Innovation PNG 2019 Conference aims to foster new technology, creative solutions and innovative thinking to Papua New Guinea's business community and is hosted by Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce (POMCCI) and Business Advantage International (BAI).

BSP General Manager Digital Nuni Kulu when presenting the cheque to the committee said, "BSP is committed in supporting the financial aspirations in the country and as one of the key players in this industry; the bank continues to reaffirm its support for the economic growth and nation building through investments. "

"We believe that the bank exists to help people succeed, and when people succeed, communities succeed to maintain the country's economic growth," Ms Kulu added.

Publishing Director of Business Advantage International Andrew Wilkins upon receiving the cheque said that he was pleased to partner with Bank South Pacific in delivering this event.  He added that, there was much to learn from businesses in Papua New Guinea, and this conference also provides the platform for exposure for small innovative business in Papua New Guinea.

The conference will feature international keynote speakers such as Deloitte Centre for the Edge's innovation expert Pete Williams and HP's Megatrends Ambassador Paul Burham, as well a special focus sessions on government, education and different industry sectors.

The Expo Plus section will include company booths and technology-related services/attractions, while workshops will provide hands-on training for smaller, special-interest groups.
