BSP is pleased to continue its support for the Warwagira & 25th Mask Festival, that is underway in Kokopo, East New Britain Province.
In uniting communities, fostering partnerships and encouraging tourism in the province, BSP reaffirmed its support and made a presentation of K10, 000 to the 2019 National Mask and Warwagira Organising Committee yesterday.
Speaking at the presentation, BSP Kokopo Branch Manager, Joe Makinta said, "BSP has remained a proud sponsor to this festival since 2011. Being a home-grown bank, it is our drive to see that PNG's tourism and culture is being promoted with positive messages to other countries."
Upon receiving the cheque, Deputy Chairman of the Festival committee Mr Tiolam Wawaga acknowledged BSP for the continued support. "This annual event has grown from strength to strength, promoting culture and keeping our traditions alive for the future generation of PNG and not only ENBP," said Mr Wawaga.
"We're pleased to have the support of corporate sponsors like BSP who have remain committed to ensuring that this festival is held each year, making it one of the most anticipated festivals on the PNG Cultural Events Calendar," said Mr Wawaga.
This year, the festival runs from the 10th July to the 14th July, 2019, in which the province expects to see an influx of visitors from within PNG and overseas.
BSP Kokopo staff will be present at the festival to conduct product awareness on SME Loan, Home Loan and Personal Loan Products, Mobile Banking registrations, Open Accounts for Sumatin Account, Kids Savings Account, Plus Saver Account, and also give an opportunity for customers to speak to our team.
