The award which was for BSP's 2017 Annual Report, met the selection criteria of PNGID and its selection panel on the areas of Presentation; Reading and Financials.
Reflecting on the achievement, BSP Head of Marketing & PR, Gorethy Semi, noted: "The BSP 2017 Annual Report displays our Core Values of 'People, Leadership, Integrity, Professionalism, Quality, Community and Teamwork. It was 'Teamwork' by our people from planning the project, concept development, compilation of Reports to design and production.
The report was creatively designed and produced to represent BSP's heritage, being part of the cultures in the countries it operates in, its history and reflecting the journey from where it was to where it is today - modern, vibrant and yet true to its roots.
"Our cover page idea was a 'reflection' of where we were, using the 1983 cover page, to where we are. We illustrated 'growth' and 'change', notably in our 'Business' and more importantly in our 'People.'
The design represents our position today as a bank with the 'Local Knowledge' and 'Global Solution'. It reflects BSP as the largest branch network in the Pacific, modern and energetic bank providing world class banking," said Ms Semi.
She added with the leadership and guidance of the Executive Management, of Group CEO Robin Fleming and Group CFO Eddie Ruha, the team was able to produce this work recognized and awarded for the second time.
"Like the 2016, the 2017 BSP Annual Report is truly 'PNG-made', produced by BSP PNG Staff with the printing services of locally-based BizPrint."
