W K Kiddie PNG Peace and Gutpela Sindaun Foundation is a locally owned Charity Organisation which was incorporated in 2014 that aims to be the medium that drives, fosters and mediates peace in PNG Communities.

Kiddie Foundation Founder and Principal Custodian, Mr Watt K Kiddie MBE, thanked BSP for its generous support towards this year's programs and said that, "The programs that we run are all about ensuring the message of peace reaches every heart and home in PNG. "

"Without the tremendous support of corporate organisations such as BSP, the Foundation will not be a success. And especially for BSP, it is wonderful to see that our leading bank has taken this step towards promoting peace in PNG," he said.

Mr Kiddie also added that the donation by BSP would go towards celebrating World Peace Day which falls on the 21st of September which the Foundation will be organising activities to commemorate the day.

BSP Head of Marketing, Ms Gorethy Semi upon presenting the cheque said, "PNG is made of a thousand tribes and clans and with that comes challenges in cultural morals and beliefs which in most instances lead to misunderstanding and conflict. Most times with such conflicts, women and children are affected. This support is also fitting and aligns with our 2017 Community Project theme of 'Empowering Women and Children.' Advocating Peace and Gutpela Sindaun builds better communities whereby all can benefit from."

"This sponsorship is the first of its kind between the bank and the W K Kiddie PNG Peace and Gutpela Sindaun Foundation and we look forward to supporting and promoting peace in all our communities across PNG," added Ms Semi.
