Hanh Hebe, 26, was extremely excited when told he had won K50,000 after his K50 BSP ATM transaction was drawn as the major prize in the Green Gold July draw.
"I never dreamt of winning such a large amount of money and I am so excited that I have won because now I can start up a trade store or buy a car and run a cab service," Mr Hebe said.
The soft spoken man from Kopiago, Hela Province, religiously sets up a stall in the city selling mobile phones to earn a living. With his daily sales takings, he deposits into his Kundu Account and uses his KunduCard when he needs to make a purchase or withdraw some money.
"I will go back and encourage my friends and family to use their KunduCard so they too can become winners with BSP's Green Gold," he adds.
BSP General Manager Retail Banking Frans Kootte when presenting Mr Hebe with his win said "Green Gold cash giveaway encourages the use of BSP's electronic channels, ATM, EFTPoS and Mobile Banking".
"The more you use your KunduCard, the more chances to win," he adds.
To enter the draw, BSP customers simply need to complete eligible transactions with their BSP Cards at any BSP ATM, BSP EFTPoS device or via BSP Mobile Banking.
Mr Hebe is among 201 July monthly winners who shared in a total of K100,000 in the BSP Green Gold Cash giveaway.
Each month, from July to December, BSP Green Gold will give away 201 monthly cash prizes. The monthly prizes are 1 x K50, 000, 2 x K1, 500, 3 x K1000, 10 x K600, 20 x K400, 30 x 250, 45 x K200 and 90 x K150.
So far, 402 winners have shared in K200, 000 and next week August winners will be drawn and announced Friday 14th September.
Plus in December, one lucky BSP customer will win K1, 000,000 cash in the Grand Prize draw.
