Manager for Koki City Mission Center Felix Meraudje when receiving the cheque from BSP Corporate Sponsorship Manager Rosemary Mawe today (21/06) acknowledged and commended BSP for their continued support that helps the youths in the Mission with various projects.
BSP's support to City Mission has been continuous for several years. The bank does similar to various other charitable, humanitarian and non-government organisations that strive to make positive contributions to the community, such as Cheshire DisAbility Services, PNG Red Cross and Salvation Army among others.
"BSP takes great pride in supporting organisations and causes that are important to the community and giving to City Mission is testament that BSP remains an integral part of the communities it operates in," Ms Mawe said.
Fueled by the vision of "Spreading the Love of God and meeting human needs" the Port Moresby City Mission provides physical, emotional and spiritual help through practical, positive programs and helps to develop skills and potential with young people which enables them to become self-reliant.
It is through such worthy support from individuals and corporate organisations such as BSP that helps sustain the operations of City Mission.
