BSP brings banking back to Arawa after two decades

The bank is significantly expanding its BSP Rural network throughout the country, 40 BSP Rural branches will be open by year end, and in Bougainville BSP is set to open two rural branches in the next few months in Wakunai and Buin.

"BSP is using state-of-the-art technology. We have got about 350 galaxy tablet computers, with a wireless card swipe and using that galaxy tablet we can now open an account anywhere in the country in very, very remote areas in 5 minutes and give the person a working debit card that they could, technically, walk up to the next ATM or eftpos and withdraw the money immediately," he explained.

BSP is improving our service coverage and quality, and taking the lead because it believes that only "One" bank has the commitment to truly deliver banking to all the people of PNG, irrespective of location or economic status!

"We are a PNG bank - a bank that can and is changing lives everyday. We are the One Bank that is totally committed to making banking a convenient and easy part of life. We are One Bank that has a real understanding that there's an increasing need to save time and money by giving everyone in PNG greater access to banking services.
