56th Goroka Show receives support from BSP

Papua New Guinea is known for its unique, rich and colorful cultural heritage, traditions and beliefs which promotes the essence of its existence together with its distinctively unique languages and people from its four main regions who value these cultures and traditions.

The Goroka Show was first held in 1957 at the Independence Park opposite the Goroka Main Market. rare opportunity for travelers to experience the customs of the people of the highlands region.
The Goroka Show President Wilson Thompson, MBE received the support and acknowledged BSP for contributing to the interest of the people of Eastern Highlands Province. He reiterated by saying that "the people are keen on preserving their traditional cultures and singsing and with your support we are able to host such events."

Goroka Show Organising Committee Chairman Gideon Samuel shared similar remarks and said that "BSP was always supportive of the people and the community in which they operate."
