BSP customers will have the chance to share in a total of K1.6 million in cash prize giveaways in Green Gold, which starts today June 1st 2012.
One lucky BSP customer will win K1 million, while K600, 000 will be shared by customers through monthly cash prizes.
Each month from July to December, 201 lucky winners will share in a total of K100,000 prize money as follows: 1 x K50, 000, 2 x K 1,500, 3 x K1,000, 10 x K600, 20 x K400, 30 x K250, 45 x K200 and 90 x K150.
BSP Green Gold is deliberately designed to reward customers who use electronic banking channels such as BSP ATMs, EFTPoS and Mobile Banking facilities to conduct day-to-day transactions such as getting cash or making purchases.
For example, customers can transfer money (ATM, Mobile Banking), buy food (EFTPoS), get cash for PMV fares or the market (ATM, EFTPoS), and Top-Up their mobile phones or EasiPAY meters (ATM, Mobile Banking). These transactions are cheaper than visiting a branch.
For chances to win Green Gold prizes, customers simply have to conduct eligible transactions using only BSP ATMs or EFTPoS facilities using their KunduCards, or use Mobile Banking. BSP has more ATMs (330+), EFTPOS facilities (5,700+) and other Electronic Channels than our competitors and is encouraging its customers to use them because they are cheap, convenient and easy.
BSP's Head of Marketing Julie Fraser said Green Gold is a great season of fun and creativity and this year it is even bigger and more rewarding.
"We are the One bank to start rewarding our customers in a most extraordinary way - just for doing their banking more conveniently," she said.
Dubbed Papua New Guinea's "biggest ever cash prize giveaway", BSP's Green Gold is not only about rewarding customers who bank conveniently using electronic channels, but about financial inclusion.
Ms Fraser said "Green Gold is also about financial inclusion, about opening up bank accounts and learning how to save money by using electronic banking instead of carrying cash. Green Gold encourages that".
She urged BSP customers to start making eligible transactions using their KunduCards or BSP Mobile Banking Green Gold is accumulative, so all eligible transactions made on or after June 1st remain in the pool for future draws. The more times customers use their KunduCards, the better their chances of winning a prize.
Other BSP cards that are eligible include: Visa Debit Card, BSP Rural KunduCard, BSP Visa Debit Card (Classic), BSP Platinum Card, BSP Gold Card, BSP Silver Card and the BSP SaveCard.
