As for the Mendi branch community project 2011, they decided to install a tuffa tank to Lumbi Primary School. The school has been lacking clean water and has been very depended on the rain. Classes would close if there was no water.
Branch staff assisted in the site preparation, cement mixing and construction of the slab and also installation of the gutters from the tank to the tap.
Students and staff now can learn and continue their lessons even without water disruptions thanks to BSP.
