Lae branch built a market shed for the Omili Primary School in the Kamkumung suburb of Lae City as their community project for 2011.
The project is aimed at providing a proper and healthier place for parents and guardians to sell food to the children at the School during recess and lunch times.
Staff helped assist the contractor over the weekends offload material, clean up project site and erect posts for the building. It was a wonderful experience for most of the staff. Project kicked off on the 31/08/11 and completed on the 16/11/11. Long delay due to city unrest.
