BSP staff installed 2x5000L Water Tanks, 8x Drinking Taps and Garbage Holder at Hagara Primary School with the assistance of a professional contractor.
The staff with their families volunteered their time and resources during the weekends to help deliver the project within a 2 week period. The project activities were divided equally among the 10 OPS & IT business units and various tasks allocated included grass cutting, building of new flower beds & gardens, washing down of several school buildings & classrooms, cleaning of the drain outlets and the students ablution blocks, painting of the students ablution blocks, removal of rubbish from the main dumping location, and general cleaning around the project site.
The Principal of Hagara Primary School Mrs. Kimali expressed her gratitude and praised BSP for the amazing job that was carried out by the staff. The installation of the 2x Water Tanks, 8x Drinking Taps and Garbage Holder created a much healthier learning environment and allows the school to develop the children to embrace these new changes today for a better tomorrow.
BSP Head of Call Centre Sibona Kema thanked the school for allowing the team to coordinate a project at their school and encouraged the students, teachers and the community to take good care of the facilities.
