Marianville Secondary School is a proud recipient of two water tanks thanks to Bank South Pacific Ltd. Situated in the outskirts of Port Moresby, the school acknowledges the great gesture bestowed by the bank.
BSP Gordons Commercial Centre staff together with the assistances of contractor spent 3 weeks to install 2x tanks. 1x water tank placed on the concrete slab and the other one was placed on the high post. The foundation was firmly built to carry the weight of the water in the 9000liters tank. Staff volunteered during the weekends to dig and clear up the area, carry the tank and place it on the elevated stand at the height of 3.5meters from the ground level. It took some time and effort to finally get it in the right position.
Head Mistress Sr Angela Taylor was very happy with the project and praised BSP for the wonderful job done. She was not expecting a project of such from the bank and was surprised and happy that the School under her Administration was able to be a recipient BSP's community project.
