The Aid Post facelift of the Public Health Service that helps to save lives from around Bulolo Township and villages with an estimated population of over 40 000 people, will give hope to patients that they will be served in a better environment and have a positive mindset towards healing.

BSP Bulolo staff volunteered with the renovation doing landscaping, flowerbeds, painting, carpentry works, drainage and general clean up including replacing the old water tank with a new Tuffa Tank in a period of 1 month.

The project was a relief to the Bulolo District as it could concentrate on other project areas in the district.

BSP Bulolo Branch Manager Bevilon Homuo handed over the renovated Aid Post today to the Aid Post Officer In Charge, Jerry Sipai.

"I have requested the maintenance of this Aid post and Health workers house to the appropriate higher authorities in the district to look into this but was neglected for so long until BSP came in by surprise and I was so excited my prayers were answered," Mr Sipai said.

The Aid Post services the people living in Bulolo and with the new look, it will be a relief to the community.

This Aid post is located in the middle of Mumeng Local Level Government council 50 meters away from the main Bulolo highway which makes it easier for patients to travel in and out including emergency cases from Menyamya and Marawaka.
